The village of Carversville is centered at the intersection of Aquetong, Fleecydale, Wismer, and Carversville roads. It has 57 buildings, many of late Victorian and Federal styles included in the distinction. Buildings of note are the Stover Mill, the Carversville Inn, the Overpeck Homestead, and the Carversville Christian Church. The village was given national recognition in 1978.
