Summary:  Anne married William Lathrop’s son, Julian, in 1931. Anne and Sally were clearly lifelong friends from the 1920’s. Both of them studied art early, Anne with Daniel Garber and Sally at the Holmquist School, possibly with John Follinsbee. The interview covers various personalities of the art colony, social life of the 20s and 30s, the history of Phillips Mill area, and a review of the fear that various unchecked diseases like polio and scarlet fever brought to families.
