Founded in 1981, the Solebury Township Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the town’s historical heritage through research, education, and programming.

We hold thousands of artifacts, photographs, and documents that give a glimpse into the rich history of our community over the past 200 years.

Solebury was incorporated in 1702, carved out of lands deeded to William Penn. The town was located at important crossroads, waterways and mill sites and includes six historic districts.
